Things I do When Procrastinating – Daydream About A Lottery Win {AD}

I think the title says it all really, doesn’t it? I’ve been going through a bit of procrastination phase recently. Although, to be fair whilst procrastinating I have been making plans. Plans for the house, plans for us as a family, plans for the blog. I’ve also found myself daydreaming about what I would do if money were no object. What I would do if I won the Lotto Plus lottery through Lottoland.

Unlike the UK National Lottery, with Lottoland you can bet on the outcome of a variety of different lottery games from across the world. The Loto Plus game uses the six numbers from the Loto Express, the well-known lottery game from Switzerland.

I mentioned my procrastination lottery daydream session to Rob this morning and he said he has a lottery daydream at least four times a year, so as this is my first major ‘lottery daydream’ of the year I don’t feel too bad!

What would I do if I won the lottery?

The first thing I would do is faint, most likely. But once I had recovered and got over the initial shock I would take the family away for a holiday, to give us the chance to think about what we would like to do with the money.

Rob and I have always said that we would give a sizable amount of the winnings to our local NICU unit.  The unit is very close to our hearts as Michael spent his first few days there and, more recently, they cared for my great niece who spent the first few months of her life there.

The next thing we would do would be to buy a house. I’ve rented for all of my adult life, and while we hope to be able to buy our first house in a couple of years, a lottery win would enable us to buy our forever home straight away.

Rob and I have been saying recently that we feel the kids are now the right age to go travelling further afield, so there would definitely be a few holidays on the cards. Disneyland is at the top of the kiddies holiday wishlist. To be fair, it’s pretty high up on my wishlist too! Also high on my list is a cruise around the Carribean, a holiday to the Maldives, and lots of luxury European city breaks.

Of course, all of the above would be amazing treats but a Lotto Plus lottery win would also give us stability and financial security… and that’s most important of all, isn’t it.

What would you do if you won the lottery? I’d love to know!
