Welcome to the first Bloggers Spotify Playlist of 2017! I have lots of lovely playlists lined up for your listening pleasure over the coming weeks. One thing I have decided to do is to change the series from weekly to fortnightly – don’t worry, it will still be going live on Wednesdays, but just every other week instead. Anyway, let’s kick off the year the right way with our first playlist of 2017.
This week’s playlist has been put together by Steph from Mental Parentals. Here’s Steph to tell you more…
What is the name you have chosen for your playlist?
Channel My Happy
How did this playlist come about?
This is a playlist I put together a couple of years back that I’d listen to whilst working out in the gym or driving to and from work. I just loved the songs!
What are your favourite tracks from the playlist?
My favourite track on this playlist is Queen’s ‘Don’t Stop Me Now’ as it just never fails to put a smile on my face and get me in the mood for dancing. I love all of these tracks, though – I can’t really choose just a couple!
Anything else you would like to say about the playlist?
Most of these tracks are related to happy moments experienced during my youth in some way. The Queen track reminds me of my first nights out in the local nightclub, Tina Turner reminds me of car journeys on holiday with my grandparents and Blink 182 reminds me of my carefree days hanging out at the skate park with friends.
Anything you would like my readers to know about your blog.
I write a bit of a mixed bag, to be honest, so I like to think I come under the Family Lifestyle umbrella. My blog is about my family and our life in the Lake District, what we get up to on day’s out, what we think of products in the style of reviews, meal planning, recipes and other food-related articles.
