Bloggers Q&A

Hello! It’s been a few weeks since my last post (for various reasons) and I’ve been keen to get back into the swing of writing again. But sometimes, when you haven’t written for a while, you find it difficult to know what to say – well, I do. Thankfully, my lovely friend Beth from Twinderelmo tagged me in the Bloggers Q&A tag that has been doing the rounds, and I thought it would be a nice way to start posting again. So, here we go…

When was the last time you cried?

Last Monday evening – I’ve been suffering from a back complaint for the past four months. I’ve got a pretty high pain threshold but occasionally the back pain gets the better of me. Last Monday was one of those times.

If you were another person, would you be a friend of yourself?

I’d like to think so!

Do you use sarcasm a lot?

Oh hell, yes! I like to use sarcasm as much as is humanly possible.

What’s the first thing you notice about people?

I think it’s their hair – which is now making me think I must make a really bad first impression as my hair is in an awful state.

Scary movie or happy endings?

Happy endings – I can’t watch scary movies. I’m such a wimp when it comes to horror films.

Favourite smells?

Freshly baked bread and biscuits just as they come out of the oven, honeysuckle,

What’s the furthest you’ve ever been from home?

Do you have any special talents?

Absolutely none at all. I am positively average in every way.

Where were you born?

Walthamstow, London

What are your hobbies?

Bullet Journaling. Cooking – I’m not very good at baking but I do love to cook a bloomin’ good roast dinner. I collect cookery books too. I have also started going to the gym three times a week, so I guess that could be considered a hobby too.

What did you want to be when you grew up?

So many different things! A vet, a police officer, a librarian, a fighter pilot, and a spy!

How many countries have you been to?

England, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, France, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Egypt.

What was your favourite/worst subject in school?

I really enjoyed drama and science, and absolutely hated French and maths.

What is your favourite drink?

Guinness! And I’m writing this on St. Patricks Day so I shall be having a pint or two of the black stuff later.

What would you (or have you) named your children?

Our son is Michael and our daughter is Georgina. I always thought that when I had a daughter I would name her Niamh but when she was born we decided that she was definitely a Georgina (she’s named after her grandmother).

Who are some of your favourite YouTubers?

I’m not a massive watcher of YouTube videos (unless you count the seemingly never-ending EvanTube, Blippi, and Ryan’s Toy Review videos that my kids watch) but I do occasionally watch bullet journal videos – so people like Boho Berry, Tiny Ray of Sunshine etc

How many boyfriends have you had?

Favourite memory from childhood?

Going down to the beach in the village where we lived. It was the 80s so it was pretty normal to just head off to the beach with your friends in the morning and not come home until tea time.

How would you describe your fashion sense?

Non-existant! I really have no style at all when it comes to clothes. I’m definitely a comfort over style kinda gal.

Tell us one of your bad habits!

Dropping my dirty clothes on the floor and not putting them in the laundry basket. I know, that’s gross!

And that is that! I think pretty every blogger I know of has already been tagged and written their own Bloggers Q&A post, but if you haven’t been tagged but want to join in then please do so! And, send me your link when you publish your Bloggers Q&A post – I love reading this type of blog post!
